A: Yes, I have. You must read it, too. You will love it!
B: I’ll try it.
Alternative response:
A: No, I haven’t. But I want to read it.
B: Tell me about it when you do.
(b) Conversation about an Argument
A: I had an argument with my brother today.
B: Oh! What about?
A: The usual. I wanted to play games, and he wanted to watch TV. So again, we ended up fighting.

A: I tried, but it doesn’t help.
B: Oh no! Not again.

5. Informal Letter from a Teenager to a Parent
Dearest Mom/Dad,
Are you surprised to see this letter? I wanted to talk to you about something important, but I felt I could express myself better in writing.
Sometimes, when I share my problems with you, I just want you to listen instead of immediately giving advice. I know you want to help, and I appreciate that, but sometimes, I just need to be heard. When you listen patiently, it makes me feel better and helps me understand my own feelings.
I hope you understand what I mean. Love you always!
Yours lovingly,(Your Name)
