The Applicants should go through the Notification circulated by the respective Unit Officers or from the above website. Last Date For Receipt Of Applications: (i) Eligible candidates should submit the duly Filled-in Application Form along with the copies of the necessary certificates to their concerned Unit Officer on or before 30-09-2020. The selection procedure will be as follows: A. Written Examination ( Objective type) The eligible candidates will have to appear a written examination in the following subjects followed by Viva-Voice on the basis of which the Selection will be finalised. (i) Subject: General Awareness - Number of Questions:15 - Number of Marks: 30 (ii) Subject: English Comprehension - Number of Questions: 10 - Number of Marks: 20 (iii) Subject: Logical Ability & Reasoning - Number of Questions: 25 - Number of Marks: 50 (iv) Subject: Computer Application - Number of Questions: 50 - Number of Marks: 100 Total No Of Questions: 100 Time Duration : 2.00 HOURS B. Viva-voice : Number of marks: 50 (i) Personality Test and General Aptitude (ii) On the subject of Computer Programming 2. The Selection of the candidate will be in two stages — Written Examination and Interview (Viva-Voice). On the basis of marks scored by candidates in the Written Examination, top three candidates (in the ratio of 1:3) will be selected for the Interview. After the interview round is conducted, Candidate scoring the maximum marks aggregately (The marks obtained in written exam, Practical and in Viva-Voice combinedly) will be selected and appointed finally. 3. The selection of the candidate will be provisional and subject to verification of the Original Certificates, antecedents and medical examination. 4. Antecedents verification: No person shall be eligible for appointment to any service by direct recruitment unless he satisfies the selection authority as well as the appointing authority that his character and antecedents are such as to qualify him/her for such service. 5. Suppression Of material facts or withholding any factual information in the attestation form (which would be supplied to the candidate who will be provisionally selected) will disqualify the candidate from being considered for appointment. Applications obtained from any other source or xerox copies thereof will not be accepted. 1. Application forms may be purchased by anyone other than the candidate also. There will be no restriction on the number of applications sold to each individual. 2. Eligible candidates should submit the application form (duly filled in) along with the copies of the necessary certificates at the Office of the Superintendent of Police of the concerned District from 29-01-2019 to 07-02-2019 on any working day Page 6 of 19 in between 10.30 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. The candidates should appear and submit the application in person and should not send their applications either by post or through their nominee and obtain acknowledgement from the Superintendent of Police concerned and should produce the acknowledgement at the time of appearing for the verification of Physical standards. Applications received by Post/Courier or through other than candidate shall not be considered. 3. A prescribed fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty Five only) in cash should be remitted at the time of submission of each application form. Instructions

Government vide G.O.Ms.No.181 Home (Services.IV) Dept., dt.16- 11-2018 issued orders enhancing upper age limit by two years as a onetime measure for certain categories including Driver Operators. Accordingly, the upper age limit is enhanced as a one-time measure for this recruitment only. i) A person who is a local to Andhra Pradesh State and also working in Andhra Pradesh Police Department as on date of notification, has been on duty as Home Guard for a minimum duration of 360 days within a period of two years and who is still continuing his service as Home Guard, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1986 and not later than 1st July, 2000. ii) in the case of all other candidates, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 2000. (b) The upper age limit prescribed in para (a) above will be relaxable as under; i) upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Backward Class or a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
