Qualification

B.Sc. MLT or equivalent degree, from a recognized institution. The candidate should also have thorough knowledge of computers for patient data entry preferably must have done a certificate course. Candidates with higher qualifications will be preferred. In case of large no. of applications received, only short listed candidates will be called for interview.

General
Instructions

1. The posts will be filled up purely on temporary basis. 2. The appointment can be terminated within one month of notice from the PI if the performance of the selected candidate is not upto the mark. 3. Since the post is purely temporary, the candidates selected will have no claim for regular appointments under the above project or continuation of his/her services in any other project. Also the candidate cannot claim for any regular appointment at this Institute or in DBT after termination of the project. 4. NO TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the Interview or joining of post and candidate should make his/her own arrangement for stay for interview and joining of post. 5. Experience will be counted only after completion of minimum education qualification. 6. Selected candidates will have to submit an affidavit duly signed by first class magistrate that they will not leave the job within first six months of the appointment in the said project. In the event of leaving the job they will have to surrender the entire salary taken for the period. 7. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview and date of Interview shall be notified separately.

About Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS):

Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences was conceived with the following objectives:
To provide facilities of specialized medical care and particularly develop super specialties that would provide tertiary health-care. To provide need oriented education in medical sciences and clinical research. To develop a referral linkage between the primary, secondary and tertiary health-care Institutions of the State to achieve an optimum health delivery system.
The State Government under the 5th and 6th plan grants earmarked for the Institute, as the Planning Commission approved of it as a plan project, provided the funds for construction and equipping the Institute. The construction commenced in the year 1976. The Institute was partially commissioned on 5th December 1982.
