Qualification

A person with a good record of research publications in professional journals and having Master’s Degree in Science with 21 years of experience or Ph.D. Degree with not less than 18 years in the field of Vertebrate or Animal Ecology or Ornithology. These conditions can be relaxed in the case of an exceptionally well-qualified candidate.

Pay
Scale

The post is in Level-14 of the Pay Matrix (Pre-revised PB-IV, Rs. 37,400-67,000 with Grade Pay Rs. 10,000) with allowances as admissible under Central Government Rules. Suitability of the candidates will be assessed through an interview to be conducted by distinguished experts, and on the basis of their Curriculum Vitae.

Age
Limit

The upper age limit is 50 years, relaxable in the case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBCs/Physically Handicapped/Ex-servicemen/ Government servants, as per the Central Government rules.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate has to undertake data collection and compilation of wetland related literature. Assist the Program Officer and Information Officer in dissemination of information, preparation of website and publications material to be circulated among different sections of the society. Assist and participate in the existing and new activities of the ENVIS Resource partner as per the instructions received from the Project coordinator and ENVIS secretariat.
