Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories:

  • (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
  • (a) (ii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in post in the PB-2 Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs.5,400/- (6th CPC) corresponding to Level 9 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; or
  • (a) (iii) with six years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in post in the PB-2 Rs.9,300-34,800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4800/- (6th CPC) corresponding to Level 8 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; or
  • (a) (iv) with seven years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in post in the PB-2 Rs.9,300-34,800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4600/- (6th CPC) corresponding to Level 7 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; and
  • (b) possessing the following educational qualification and experience:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
Experience: Five years’ experience of administration or establishment work.

Note 1: The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation or absorption. Similarly, deputationist shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
Note 2: The period of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The maximum age-limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications).

Job requirementTo look after general administration, establishment, and accounts works of Eastern Council Secretariat and to assist Deputy Secretary/Director. To perform duties of Drawing and Disbursing Officer.

Qualification
Recognised medical qualifications included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licenciate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
