Minimum 2-3 years' experience in site inspection, data analysis, surveying or site assessment roles, preferably in the renewable energy or wind farm industry. Proven track record in conducting site inspection and terrain analysis.

Job
Responsibilities

To conduct single/multiple site visits to validate coordinates for all turbine locations using GPS equipment. • To review site survey methodology, instrumentation and measurement technique as per MoD guidelines. • To cross-verify sample coordinates onsite and elevations against the certificate. • Facilitate authentication of the site survey data prepared by the surveyors after due diligence. • Develop comprehensive elevation certificates for the wind farm, detailing the precise elevations of turbine locations, access roads and other infrastructure. • Data Analysis & perform wind and site statistical modelling and analyses, including determination of wind resource and site characteristics by using modeling software like WAsP, Windpro and CFD software. • Develop wind turbine site layouts and optimize turbine configurations based on conformance with standards, power production and construction considerations. • Report preparation. Skill set (Software Tools): Windographer, WAsP. WindPRO, Global Mapper, Open wind, Ability to interpret and analyze topographic maps, aerial photographs and satellite imagery.
