Qualification
The applicant must have graduation in any discipline from a recognised university with Diploma in Cinematography, Videography, editing, production and post-production activities.
Pay
Scale
The consolidated remuneration of (i) Rs.40,000/- per month, for anyone having relevant work experience of 3-5 years, and (ii) Rs.45,000/- per month for persons having more than 5 years’ relevant experience. Nothing extra shall be paid for any reason/ purpose e.g. HRA/ Telephone/ Transport, etc. except for travelling outside Delhi for Government work.

Post production of videos which includes editing using Final Cut Pro (FCP) editor, incorporating animations, presentations, graphics, other video clippings, editing and all the post production activities or iii. The name of the post applied for may be written in bold letters on the top of the envelope and the Curriculum Vitae. 4. Advance copy may be sent to the NISD by the candidates in the prescribed proforma. However, the Department is required to forward the application of those candidates who can be relieved immediately. 5. About National Institute of Social Defence (NISD)

The NISD was set up originally as Central Bureau of Correctional Services in 1961, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, in pursuance of the recommendations emerging at various National Forums. In 1964, the Bureau was transferred to the then Department of Social Security.

Since 1975 the Institute was a subordinate office under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. The NISD has become an Autonomous Body vide Government of India Notification No. 10-3/2000-SD.Vol.II dated 15th July, 2002 and is registered under Societies Act XXI of 1860 with the Government of NCT, Delhi.

The National Institute of Social Defence is the nodal training and research institute in the field of social defence. Though social defence covers the entire gamut of activities and programmes for the protection of society, this Institute is currently focusing on human resource development in the areas of drug abuse prevention,welfare of senior citizens, beggary prevention, transgender and other social defence issues.
