Criteria
Officers Holding the analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department. OR 2. Officer working in Govt./ autonomous bodies, with 5 years regular service in the Pay Band - 3 with Grade Pay Rs. 5400 (Prerevised) and five years experience in processing case of grant-in-aid to voluntary organizations in the field of social development. OR Good academic record with first or second class Master’s degree in Science/Arts/Commerce/ Social Work or Social Sciences, Home Sciences, and Nutrition/ Child development and ten years experience in processing cases of grant-in-aid in the field of social development. Preference will be given to candidates proficient in computer.

The authority forwarding the applications should also certify that no vigilance/disciplinary case is pending/contemplated against the officers whose applications are being forwarded. 2. The envelope must be superscripted “Application for the post of “ ________________________”. 3. The eligible Physically Challenged persons suitable for the above categories of posts can also apply for the posts which are not reserved for them. 4. Mere satisfying the essentially required minimum qualification and experience does not entitle an applicant to be called for test/interview/Computer skill test for appointment. 5. The Institute reserves the right to call only limited number of persons for written test/interview, as the case may be. Applicants short-listed for test/computer skill test/interview will be informed at appropriate time. No further correspondence/query will be entertained.

National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, popularly known as NIPCCD, is a premier organisation devoted to promotion of voluntary action research, training and documentation in the overall domain of women and child development. Established in New Delhi in the year 1966 under Societies Registration Act of 1860, it functions under the aegis of the Ministry of Women and Child Development. In order to cater to the region-specific requirements of the country, the Institute, over a period of time, has established four Regional Centres at Guwahati (1978), Bangalore (1980), Lucknow (1982) and Indore (2001). The Institute functions as an apex institution for training functionaries of the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) programme. As a nodal resource agency, it has also been entrusted with the responsibility of training and capacity building of functionaries at the national and regional level, under the new scheme of Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS). It has also been designated, by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, the nodal institution for imparting training on two important issues of Child Rights and Prevention of trafficking of women children for SAARC countries. Institute’s expertise and performance was recognized by UNICEF in 1985 when it awarded the Maurice Pate Award for its outstanding contribution in the field of Child Development.
