Virtual Zoom Interview for Senior Research Fellow Position
Virtual zoom interview will be held to recruit one Senior Research Fellow to work in AMAAS research project entitled “Development of formulations of B. bassiana, Al. anisopliae, and Lecanicillium spp. for management of certain sucking pests in vegetable crops” for the period of 08.08.2023 – upto 31.03.2024, likely to be continued further financial year (2023-2026).
Interested candidates may send their complete bio-data in the prescribed application format (along with scanned copies of their credentials) by e-mail to Dr. A. Kandan, Principal Investigator (a.kandan@icar.gov.in) on or before 27.07.2023. Candidates are advised to send a single PDF file of the application along with the other documents with mobile number and email ID for communication. Shortlisted candidates will be informed through mail / phone for attending the virtual mode interview (Zoom) scheduled to be held on 03.08.2023 at 11:00 AM. Terms & Conditions:
- Maximum age limit: The age should be maximum of 35 years for male and 40 years for female and age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC is applicable as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules.
- Applicants with minimum eligibility alone need to send application/appear for interview.
- The applicant must send attested copies of certificates along with application and a brief of research work done vis-a-vis publications (first page) in peer-reviewed journals during post-graduation’s & present employment.
- No objection certificate from the employer/ University, in case he/ she is in employment elsewhere.
- The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at his Institute as the fellowship / post is purely temporary and coterminous with respective Project/Schemes.
- The initial appointment is from 08.08.2023 – upto 31.03.2024 and this project likely to continue (further financial year 2023-2026) and the continuation of the SRF will depend upon the progress reviewed by the Principal Investigator.
- Any other clarifications can be had on the date of interview.
- The decision of the Competent Authority will be final and binding in all respects.

Terms & Conditions
- Initial engagement of YP will be for one year, which is extendable for two more years.
- The minimum age under YP category will be 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxations as per rule.
- Applicants with minimum eligibility alone need to send an application/appear for an interview.
- All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before the scheduled time on the date of the interview for necessary formalities.
- No objection certificate from the employer if he/she is in employment elsewhere.
- The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at his/her Institute as the fellowship/post is purely temporary and co-terminus with respective Project/Schemes.
- No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview. The interview will be held on 10th June 2023 at ICAR-NBAIR, Hebbal, Bengaluru – 560024 at 11:00 AM.
