Instructions
1, The post is purely temporary and is coterminous with the project. Fellowship is liable to cancellation in case of a) misconduct„ b) Unsatisfatory research work, and c) fellow is found ineligible later. 2. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidate for attending the interview, 3. The director and appointing authority has right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason and correspondence in this manner will be entertained, 4. The selected candidate will work in the project mentioned above or any other work that may be assigned by Principal Investigator from time to time. 5. Written test in subject area will be held, if required, to shortlist the candidates for interview on the same day depending upon the number of candidates. 6. Selected candidate will not have any right to claim for regular appointment on the basis of this contract

Maharshi Dayanand University, ab initio established as Rohtak University, Rohtak, came into existence by an Act No. 25 of 1975 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in 1976 with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences. It was rechristened as Maharshi Dayanand University in 1977 after the name of a great visionary and social reformer, Maharshi Dayanand. It had a unitary and residential character in its nascent stage, but became an affiliating University in November 1978. The University secured the recognition of University Grants Commission – the higher education regulatory body of India – for central Govt. grants in Feb. 1983.
