The eligible candidates are invited to appear for a walk-in-Interview for a post of Junior Research fellow (JRF-One Post) under Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission (RGSTC), Government of Maharashtra funded research project on “Artificial Intelligence in Breed Identification and Live Body Weight Prediction in Cattle Breeds of Maharashtra”.

Dt. 12-07-2023, Wednesday at 10:30 am

Details of the post- Junior Research Fellow (JRF):

Terms & Conditions for filling the post of JRF:

1. The position is purely temporary, time-bound and co-terminus, the selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointments at Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University, Nagpur.
2. The engagements are temporary for a specific period mentioned and co-terminus with the project or even before on the discretion of the competent authority.
3. Age limit: 45 years (with age relaxation as per rules).
4. All the relevant original testimonials (date of birth, degree certificate, experience certificate, etc., if any) are to be shown and a set of self-attested copies of all the certificates will be required to be submitted by the candidates for verification at the time of interview.
5. The applicants are requested to submit a copy of their bio-data in advance by e-mail at vilasdongre@mafsu.in.
6. No objection and experience certificate is required from the employer, in case he/she is employed.
7. No claim what so ever will be entertained for further recruitment at department/institute or university merely on the basis of the appointment on this ad-hoc post.
8. No TA/DA/ any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
9. Concealing of the facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of the candidate. The decision of the selection committee will be final and binding in all respects.
10. In case of under-performance and or indiscipline/misconduct, the hired JRF is liable to be removed without notice.

The Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU) was formally notified on November 17th, 2000 and was established under the State Act No. 1998 (MAH.XVII of 1998) on December 03rd, 2000 with its headquarter at Nagpur. The University has been carved out of the four Agriculture Universities in the state by transferring five Veterinary Colleges, one Post Graduate Institute of Veterinary & Animal Sciences and one Dairy Technology College. Although the University is in its infancy, the constituent colleges were quite old.
