Engagement of Teaching Assistant at CDST, Pookode

Candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview for the selection of Teaching Assistant on a daily wage basis in the Department of Dairy Chemistry of the College of Dairy Science and Technology, Pookode. The interview is scheduled to be conducted on 22/06/2023 (Thursday) from 10:30 A.M onwards at College of Dairy Science and Technology, Second Floor, TVCC Building, Pookode, Lakkidi P.O, Wayanad District.

Candidates possessing requisite qualifications shall report at the venue with the originals of all certificates and testimonials to prove age, qualifications & experience, etc. They are also advised to bring one set photocopies of their certificates/documents. No T.A/D.A will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview. The candidates should not exceed 36 years as on 01.01.2023 (usual relaxation in the upper age limit shall be allowed in the case of SC/ST/and OBC communities.

Registrar is the Head of Administration and Finance Division of the institution. He/ She is responsible to guide and advise the Director on all matters relating to the Administration and Finance. His/ Her role is expected to be a facilitator of the administrative back up for all research and development activities of the Centre. He/ She should be highly motivated and totally synchronized with the organizational goals. He/ She should co-ordinate various activities of the Centre and should possess good organizing capacity. The candidates should be capable of undertaking Developmental challenges of the institution. 1. To be the convener of Management Committee meetings. 2. To prepare agenda notes and minutes of the MC and ensure follow-up action on the decisions. 3. To manage and supervise functions relating to HR/Administration/ Finance and Accounting/Purchase/Upkeep the maintenance of the Campus. 4. To exercise the powers for appointments, promotions, transfers of employees as and when decided by the higher authorities. 5. To conduct efficiency assessment of staff for promotion. 6. To initiate disciplinary action against employees for irregularities as per rules. 9. Instructions
The candidate must bring all the original certificates including experience certificate in original with them for the selection interview. No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants for appearing in interview. The candidate should be willing to work at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad and Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, Panangad, Ernakulam. The appointments will purely be time-bound, on contractual basis of non-regular nature and co-terminus with the project. The University or institute will hold no responsibility for payment of emoluments/ regular employment after termination of the project. Notwithstanding the duration of the scheme, the engagement of project fellow can be discontinued owing to administrative reasons at any time by issue of one month’s notice or one month’s emoluments in lieu thereof. Non-maintenance of the discipline or failure to perform the duties assigned will make the project fellow liable for termination. The Project fellow may also leave the assignment, on their own volition, by giving one month’s notice. At the end of the contract period, the project fellow will have no right to claim any employment or engagement in the ICAR/ KVASU. The incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under ICAR/ University. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualificationof the candidature or termination even after appointment. The timely guidelines issued for project fellows engaged under the KSCSTE-SRS schemes will be followed.
