Assistance in scrutiny & review of all technical reports submitted by Operators, consultants, support organizations and any other reports Assistance in preparation of proceedings of review meetings. Assistance in preparation of replies to legislators questions and queries received from Government Coordination with DBOE Monitoring of progress of KUWSMP projects including quality control reports. Certification & recommendation of bills Assistance in preparation of all documents as per WB, KTPP procedures including contract agreement

• Shall have secured minimum 60% marks in Masters. • A minimum of 5 years relevant operational experience. • Proven track record in working on projects covering a broad range of social development issues, stakeholder interest. • Should have experience in undertaking social and community development initiatives and appraisals in the municipal environment, especially in to urban infrastructure projects, IEC experience. • Experience of coordinating stakeholder meetings people affected by the project. • Strong Kannada and English communication skills, both written and oral. • Carrying out social assessments required for various projects. • Experience in providing basic orientation and training on social & community development.

Responsibilities

• The expert will coordinate with KUIDFC/GoK/GoI • Ensure that the investment projects reflect social inclusion, assess the social impacts of projects and monitor their impacts over time. • Compile & Consolidate social analysis of projects proposed under SCM. Develop social safeguard framework for SCM projects. • Ensure that SCM funded initiatives are in participatory manner. • Assist in establishing institutionalizing systems of participatory decision making and information sharing in participating cities. • Advise SPV on matters relating to Capacity Building (CB) activities and their effective implementation. • Coordination with stakeholders of various projects. • Any other related activities as decided by the SPV.

About Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC)

Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC) was incorporated as a public limited company under the Companies Act, 1956 on 02.11.1993 with the objects to prepare, formulate and implement projects, schemes and programmes relating to infrastructure development in the urban areas of the state and to provide technical, financial, consultancy and other assistance to urban bodies for development, schemes, including implementation of master plans. Considering its expertise in project formulation, appraisal, management and implementation KUIDFC has been appointed as the Nodal Agency of the State for implementation of various urban infrastructure development projects in the state. KUIDFC has secured the status of State Level Financial Institution (SLFI) from the Government of India.

The Directors, who are heading various principal departments / organizations of State Government involved in urban infrastructure development, are appointed by the Government of Karnataka. The Managing Director is the Chief Executive Officer of the Company functioning under the superintendence and control of the Board of Directors and is assisted by a team of professionals and officers from the state cadre.
