Note: Since the project requires extensive fieldwork, the candidates should have basic knowledge in handling surveying instruments and be willing to travel along coastal regions of Kerala for data collection.

Where the number of applicants is large and/or where it will not be convenient or possible to interview all candidates to a reasonable limit, the University reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for an interview based on qualifications/suitability of the candidate to the post with experience prescribed in the notification.
Interview will be held at KUFOS Headquarters, Panangad PO, Ernakulam, and the selected candidates for the interview will be intimated through email.

Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean studies is an autonomous public funded-institution established on 20th November 2010. KUFOS is the first fisheries university in the country. The headquarters of KUFOS with its enchanting blue building stands in harmony with the greenery at Panangad, 12 km away from Kochi city, along NH-47. It provides high quality instructional programmes in fisheries, ocean sciences and allied subjects.
