Job
Responsibilities

He shall attend duty in time in neat and clean uniform and to see that all staff report for duty in time and in proper uniform and alert. He should maintain discipline during his duty hours and see that everything is kept at its appointed place. He should dealt the trains as per procedures prescribed in Station Working rules. He should attend control telephone promptly while on duty and follow instructions given by controller on duty. He should be responsible for general supervision and proper up keep of station building / premises and amenities provided therein. He should ensure cleanliness in station premises. He shall ensure that the staff are trained as required and validity of their Block Competency, Panel Competency and Medical Certificate. He should promptly attend accidents, assume charge of the site and assist in relief measures ensuing prompt evacuation of injured and stranded passengers. Specific duties for a given circumstances stipulated in the General and Subsidiary Rules, Block Working and Accident manual shall also be carried out. In addition to above, he shall also do any other work assigned to him by administration time to time.
