Responsibilities

Analysing, Architecting, Designing large scale(n-tier) enterprise grade applications/products. Programming and debugging skills in J2EE in an IDE (preferably Eclipse)based development environment, Usage of JSPs, frameworks like Struts, Spring, Hibernate, middleware, ETL tools, Javascript and open source based tools / environments / applications / databases. Expertize in understanding and usage of concepts and approaches involving OOAD, UML, XML, RDBMSs, Hibernate/any ORM tool and any two types of Operating Systems – MS Windows / Unix flavour / Apple Mac OS. Proficiency in any two of the databases – Oracle/MySQL/Postgres/MS Access is required. Presentation/ publication of research papers in conferences / magazines and membership in professional/research organizations is an added advantage. Should be able to understand existing/new systems quickly and provide a roadmap of the organization for future 5 – 8 years. Knowledge of achieving and or maintaining quality standards such as ISO, CMM, BvQI etc. are desirable. Should be a self starter, able to work with minimum directions,highly dynamic and also a good team player. Develop features for web applications, turning high level descriptions into things end users like. Collaborate on wireframes and design drafts and turn these into well-implemented, functional user interfaces. Produce mockups and designs in Photoshop and implement these using HMTL5 and CSS Work with the back-end development team to implement interactive and AJAX-based functionality. Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design with a speciality in designing interfaces for web applications.Proficient graphic design skills using Photoshop etc., cross-browser support. Proficiency in object-oriented Javascript, including one or more frameworks (jQuery, Prototype, etc). Prior experience in Open source based UI designing tools is a definitive advantage.
