Eligibility Criteria

  1. For the post of Chief General Manager (Projects) (E-8):
    • Should be working in SAG/SG i.e. in PB-4/GP 10000 (pre-revised 6th CPC) revised to Matrix level 14 (7th CPC) or GP 8700 (pre-revised 6th CPC) revised to matrix level 13 (7th CPC) with a minimum of 17 years of Group-A service.
  2. For the post of General Manager (Projects) (E-7):
    • Officers should be working in SG i.e. PB-4/GP 8700 (pre-revised 6th CPC) revised to matrix level 13 (7th CPC) with a minimum of 13 years of Group-A service.

Note: Higher grade pay or pay scale granted under ACP/MACP by the parent department shall not be taken into account for the above eligibility criteria.

Specific Requirement

Officers should have service experience prescribed in the V.C. in Civil Engineering in planning, construction, and supervision of structures like large Commercial Buildings/Large Industrial Complex/Large Convention Centers/Large Educational Complex/Construction of Museums/Constructions of Airports/Construction of Science Center/Medium & Heavy Industries, etc.

Pay protection will be given to candidates as per DPE Guidelines. Apart from above, facilities such as Company leased accommodation (in lieu of HRA), Medical Facility (Outdoor & Indoor medical reimbursement), NPS, PRP as per DPE guidelines and reimbursement of cost incurred towards mobile handset & Laptop will be as per Company Policy. (ii) For Deputation: E-7/E-6/E-5 Parent Department Pay + Deputation Duty Allowance + Other Allowances as per IPRCL HR Policy. (iii)For Officers working on contract in IDA/CDA Scale in Govt./PSU/JV Companies under Govt. control/Govt. Companies and Officers working in Private Sector: E-7 100000-260000 / E-6 90000-240000 / E-5 80000-220000 + IDA + HRA + Perks @35% of Basic Pay & Allowances as admissible in IPRCL. No Pay protection shall be granted to candidates working in private sector and the selected candidate shall be placed at the minimum of Basic Pay. Age, Experience, Eligibility criteria etc. shall be reckoned as on the last date of receiving of applications. 3. All qualifications should be recognized by UGC/AICTE/AIU(GOI). ii. Additional weightage may be given to candidates having additional relevant qualifications. iii. IPRCL reserves the right to raise/modify the eligibility criteria in minimum educational qualification and/or minimum work experience. iv. The upper age limit prescribed as 57 years for immediate absorption in the vacancy circular may be relaxed upto 58 years in case of deserving and exceptional candidates. iv. Appointment shall be subject to Service and Conduct Rules of IPRCL. v. Application should be duly forwarded through “Proper Channel” along with Certified copies of last 5 years APARs/ACRs. However, advance copy of application shall be considered. In case of difficulty in forwarding the application through “Proper Channel”, candidate has to attach a declaration that, if shortlisted, No Objection Certificate (NOC) will be produced at the time of interview. vi. If the candidate is not in a position to forward the application through “Proper Channel” nor he / she may be able to produce NOC at the time of Interview then the applicant may send his / her application along with self-certified copies of last 5 years ACR/APARs and other requisite documents. The monthly remuneration of site Engineer will be around Rs. 54000/- plus HRA (HRA will be Rs. 10,000/- , 7500/- and 4,000/- at ' X’, ‘ Y’ & ’Z’ class cities respectively, if accommodation is not provided by the Company) , Medical Insurance for self and immediate family (Spouse and Dependent Children) and Employers’ Contribution of PF of 12% shall be given. An annual increment as per the government policy, i.e. 3% plus annual inflation on the basic pay shall be given.
