Job Details:

The applications from eligible candidates are invited for Written Test cum Walk-in-Interview on 15.06.2023 at 10.00 AM in ICAR – Indian Institute of Oil Palm Research (IIOPR), Research Centre, Palode, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 562, Kerala, for temporary and time-bound position(s) of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) on a contractual basis under NMEO – Oil Palm Project “Development and clonal seed garden through mass multiplication of high yielding elite oil palm using tissue culture”.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Interested and eligible candidates fulfilling the above qualifications may appear in Walk-in Interview on 15.06.2023 at 10:00 AM in ICAR- Indian Institute of Oil Palm Research (IIOPR), Research Centre, Palode, Thiruvananthapuram – 695562, Kerala along with duly filled application form in the prescribed format with self-attested copies of all supporting documents and their original certificates.
2. Place of Work: ICAR – Indian Institute of Oil Palm Research (IIOPR), Research Centre, Palode, Thiruvananthapuram.
3. Age Limit: 35 Years for male and 40 years for female (with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. of India norms).
4. No objection certificate from the employer/university in case he/she is employed elsewhere/studying.
5. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for attending the interview.
6. The selected candidate cannot claim any regular employment at this institute, as the position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
7. The above position is on a contractual basis, purely temporary, time-bound, and co-terminus with the project.
8. The decision of the Director, ICAR-IIOPR, Pedavegi, Andhra Pradesh is final and binding in all aspects.

About Indian Institute of Oil Palm Research (IIOPR)

Research on Oil Palm under irrigated conditions is practically a new startand the Indian Council of Agricultural Research established the NationalResearch Centre for Oil Palm ( later renamed as Directorate of Oil Palm Research) at Pedavegi in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on February 19,1995. In November 2014, the institute was upgraded as Indian Institute of Oil Palm Research (IIOPR) to cater to oil palm research requirements across the country. IIOPR serves as a centre for conducting and coordinating research on all aspects of oil palm conservation, improvement, production, protection, post-harvest technology and transfer of technology.This institute has a research centre at Palode near Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
