To assist the Librarian in offering the library services to the faculty and the students To assist the faculty and students to procure books, articles and other teaching and research materials To assist the Sr. Librarian in various other activities such as acquiring, organizing, managing and distributing library resources and ensuring that library provision meets the needs of all its users To assist in selecting, developing, cataloguing and classifying library resources. To liaise with departmental academic staff, external organizations and book suppliers. To upkeep library records and equipments

To head technical committees in ICAI related to Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting viz., Accounting Standards Board, Expert Advisory Committee, Research Committee, XBRL, Accounting Research Foundation, Accounting Standards for Local Bodies, etc.; b) To provide technical support in formulation of guidance notes or any other technical guide on accounting aspects; c) To conduct research on various fields which have a direct or indirect bearing on accountancy; d) To carry out research in collaboration with other Institutions like Management Institutes, Universities, Financial Institutions, Corporate Bodies, and Professional Institutes at National and International level; e) To provide suggestions/comments on the accounting issues referred by the Government and other bodies.
