Shift Management/ activities. b. Responsible for implementing HSE Vision/Policy. c. Responsible for carrying out preventive and protective maintenance of all Fire Fighting Appliances (mobile, static and portable) as per the established procedures and systems. d. Will give his full support to plant team for carrying out critical jobs (Hot Job, Confined space entry) etc. e. Investigate accident/incident and implement recommendations. f. Impart training to plant employees on HSEF’s guidelines and technique of emergency handling. g. Maintain EMCR and Communication Systems (PA System, F&G System) in good condition. h. Review Fire Protection Manual, safety manual, MSDS etc. i. Implement and maintain work permit system, accident investigation system. j. Carryout JSA and prepare SOP. k. Carryout HAZOP study. l. Keep all emergency system, equipment and installation hones for use in emergency.

Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for assuring reliability of all Fixed and Portable Fire Fighting equipment’s, appliances and system in 24x7 manner. Will be a member of HSEF team and responsible for implemented HSEF guidelines being followed across in HPL. Responsible for maintenance of all emergency system, equipment, clean agent systems and installation honed for use in emergencies. Implement requirement of IMS in all activities (including ONSEMP, SOP, and SMP etc.). Responsible for fire services related legal and statutory compliance. Fire protection system design / implementation verification for all new projects. Assessment of spare requirement and calculate CAPEX and Consumable requirements as per global standards. Carry out QRA in a team and bring out preventive and mitigate actions required. Carrying out job safety analysis and Job risk verification audit on daily basis. Carrying out Emergency drill and scheduled testing of firefighting system, fire tenders and fire water pumps etc. Issue / accept work permit from plant for carrying out maintenance job. Handle Onsite and Off-site emergencies. Provide training to plant employees on HSEF’s guidelines and technique of emergency handling Responsible for generating and maintaining of all kinds of reports.
