ABOUT Ferro Scrap Nigam Limited (FSNL)फेर्रो स्क्रैप निगम लिमिटेड
FSNL is an IMS certified Mini Ratna-II category institute under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. FSNL is a wholly owned subsidiary of MSTC Limited with authorized share capital of Rs. 50 crore and paid-up share capital of Rs. 32 crore. Over the years FSNL has become a pioneer in the steel mill service sector. Presently this institute is working in eight steel plants of the country, BHEL-Haridwar, Rail-Wheel Factory-Bangalore etc. and provides services at competitive rates on the basis of its world-class technology. Ferrous scrap recovery is a process that processes ferrous alloys from the debris and residues that were considered waste materials during iron and steel production. Its objective is to annually recycle metals worth crores of rupees in the country, thereby saving valuable raw materials. Over time, it was proved that using iron alloys obtained in this way in steel production saves a considerable amount of energy and natural resources.
