Qualification
Post Graduate Degree in Food Technology or Food Science and Nutrition or Post Graduate Degree in Science with specialization in Biotechnology or Botany or Zoology or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Teaching experience in Quality aspects of Food. The candidate should qualify the test on Organoleptic Evaluation of Coffee, to be conducted before selection.

Educational qualifications prescribed for the post is the minimum. Candidates must possess this qualification. The appointment is purely temporary and may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof. The Technical Assistant may also leave the assignment, on their own volition, by giving one month notice. 2. The incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under Coffee Board. 3. The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from recognizedUniversities / Institutions. 4. No interim enquiries / correspondence / communication of any sort will be entertained on the matter. 5. Face mask is mandatory during the walk-in interview. Covid-19 safety protocols issued by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has to be strictly followed.

The saga of Indian coffee began on a humble note, with planting of ‘Seven seeds’ of ‘Mocha’ during 1600 AD by the legendary holy saint Baba Budan, in the courtyard of his hermitage on ‘Baba Budan Giris’ in Karnataka.
