1. Engagement will be initially for a period of one year, and may be extended or curtailed depending upon the project requirement, and desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent and availability of funds from funding agencies as the case may be. 2. The tenure of project staff shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances the tenure would be allowed to exceed five-year duration. The performance of the Project Associate would be reviewed periodically so that any one not found up to the mark, could be terminated. 3. The position is only temporary and, therefore, will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit on any post in CSIR-CIMAP. 4. The upper age limit as on date of Walk-in-Interview, is relaxable as per the Government of India Rules i.e. up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/Persons with disabilities/ Women and 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy layer) 5. On completion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wants to apply for engagement in another project, he/she will have to go through the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made only after submission of resignation and “No Demand Certificate” in the previous project. 6. The Project Associate shall be permitted to avail leave as per rules. 7. Experience, where required, will be counted from acquiring minimum educational qualification 8. Final semester and result awaited candidates will not be allowed to appear for interview.

Perform the duties of general duty medical officer irrespective of the fact whether individual is a specialist or not. He/She will have to attend the morning or evening OPD of CIMAP Dispensary, Vikas Nagar, Lucknow for three hours duration as decided by Medical Officer incharge according to requirement. This includes treating common medical ailments and referring the patient to specialists if required, follow up of chronic disease patients.

However, they would be entitled to 8 days leave in a calendar year, to be calculated on pro‐rata basis. 4.Tax deduction at Source:‐ The Income Tax or any other tax Iiable as per the prevailing rules will be deducted at sources before effecting the payment for which the office will issue TDS certificate. 5.Confidentiality of data, information and documents:‐ The information, data and documents related to the office shall remain confidential. No one shall utilize or publish or disclose to a third party, any part of the data or statistics or proceedings or information collected for the purpose of this assignment or during the course of assignment for the office, without the express written consent of the office. The part time doctor shall be bound to hand over the entire set of records or assignments to the office before the expiry of the contract or before. 6. Conflict of Interest:‐The Part time doctor engaged by this office, shall not represent or give opinion or advise to others in any matter which is averse to the interest of this office. 7. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing any political influence or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the above position. 8. Termination of service :‐ The engagement may be terminated at any time by the office without assigning any reasons by giving a notice of 30 days.In case, a part time doctor desires to leave the assignment, he/she has to serve the notice before 30 days which can be curtailed/extended.
