CEPT University invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager/ Senior Executive, (Graphic Design) – Communications Office at CEPT University (full time and on contract basis). The Communications Office shows and tells CEPT’s stories in order to engage and inspire audiences, elevate the image of the University, and create lasting connections for and with its community. Communications office designs, documents, curates and manages CEPT’s presence on various online media, social platforms and print material that build the identity of the university.
We are looking for dynamic professionals who are self-motivated, possess multitasking skills, have a good knowledge of visual communications, and can work on various aspects related to digitizing and disseminating archival collections.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Designing for social media and various print collaterals (brochure, flyer, invites, posters, presentations, etc.) required for branding, admissions, delegation visits, convocation, events, etc.
Coordination with printers and other related vendors.
Maintain, update content repository (hi-res stock images) of the Faculty and the University,
Support the team in scheduling and posting on Social Media handles.
Assist in making Storyboard for shoots (with stock images).
Support in designing and executing event/ exhibition stalls.
Thorough understanding of making approved design into final artwork for printing.
Maintaining and taking regular backup of all the work being carried out.
Academic Qualification:
Bachelors of Design in Graphic Design or Bachelors of Arts in Graphic Design.
Masters of Design in Graphic Design / Masters of Design in Communication Design (Graphic Design)/ Master of Visual Arts in Graphic Arts / Masters of Design in Communication Design is preferred.
Graduate Diploma Program in Graphic Design / Graduate Diploma Program in Graphic & Web Designing from well-known reputed institutions with excellent portfolio can also apply.
Minimum 6 years of experience (4 years for Senior Executive) out of which 2 years of experience as Senior Visualizer or Associate Art Director in an Advertising Agency.
Expertise Required:
Creative thinker with strong visualization skills for different media, and good grasp of various layout styles and techniques.
Thorough understanding of digital and print production and processes.
Strong portfolio of work.
Demonstrated ability in using photos, illustrations, typography, colours, infographics, etc. in work
Must have orientation of working as per Brand Manual/ Style Guidelines. Experience of working on well-known brands having defined Brand Guidelines is desirable.
Expert level proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Corel, etc.
Must have independently managed or supported Photography shoots.
Ability to edit short video clips and create some simple animation or interactive infographics.
Ability to collaborate on multiple projects and deliver amid tight deadlines
