SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D | Must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. |
Note: Candidates must produce all the mark sheets, provisional certificates, etc in original as proof that they have qualified for the essential educational qualification as on or before the closing date of receipt of application.
SSC Stenographer Age Limit
- Minimum age limit: 18 years
- Maximum age limit: 30 years (Grade C), 27 years (Grade D)

SSC Stenographer Nationality
- An Indian Citizen or
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan or
- A Tibetian refugee who had come over to India before 1 January 1962 with permanent intent of settling in India or
- The candidate may be an Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam, etc with the intention to permanently settle in India.
SSC Stenographer Number of Attempts
There’s no set limit on attempts, candidates can try as many times as the candidate need while staying within the age limit.
