SSC GD Constable Nationality/ Citizenship
To be eligible for the SSC GD position, a candidate must be a citizen of India. Since vacancies in CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces) and Assam Rifles (AR) are allocated by State/UT/area, candidates are required to submit a domicile certificate or Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) corresponding to their state or union territory.
SSC GD Constable Age Limit
The crucial date for age reckoning is fixed as 01-01-2025 in accordance with the provisions of the DoP&T OM No. 14017/70/87-Estt.(RR) dated 14-07-1988. Accordingly, the age of the candidate must be 18-23 years as on 01-01-2025 (i.e., candidates born not before 02-01-2002 and not later than 01-01-2007).

Educational Qualification
The candidates must have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University as on or before the cut-off date i.e., 01-01-2025.
