NOTE:
- Candidates of SC/ST and OBC category can apply for two accumulative exemptions.
- ST candidates with a physical disability will be given 15 years of (maximum) relaxation for the upper age limit and no other exemptions allowed.
- Candidates are required to show a certificate confirming their exemption category at the time of the interview to be eligible for PO post.
- IBPS Age limit relaxation is given to the candidates that are specified in the official notification. Changes can be made in the age limit relaxation as per IBPS.
IBPS PO Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have at least a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Candidates in the final year/final semester of the examination cannot apply for this exam.
- The fraction of the percentage arrived will be ignored, i.e. 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%, and 59.99% will be treated as less than 60%.
IBPS PO Nationality
- A Citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,
