- Newspaper news is detailed but comes later. TV news is fast, with videos and live updates.

3. Just for Fun: Make a ‘Non-News’ Newspaper
Activity: Students should create a funny non-news newspaper.
Example Headlines:

These are non-news because they are not important events.
4. Be a Reporter: Prepare a Short News Bulletin
Activity: Form groups and create a short news report with four news items.
Example News Bulletin:
News Anchor:
“Welcome to our daily news bulletin! Let’s look at today’s top stories.”
Reporter 1:
“In Ahmedabad, scientists found more dinosaur fossils in the Kutch region. The fossils include a dinosaur skull and teeth.”
Reporter 2:
“In Brazil, a penguin named Dindim swims 8000 km every year to meet his human friend, Joao.”
Reporter 3:
“Scientists have detected gravitational waves for the first time. This proves Einstein’s theory after 100 years!”
Reporter 4:
“A new sports stadium is opening in Mumbai next week. It will host many international matches.”
Students should act as reporters and present this in class.
