Answer : The 1883 eruption:

The eruption caused tsunamis, destroying 165 villages and towns.
The island collapsed into the sea, forming a huge crater.
Ash spread around the world and settled in different places.
The living world on Rakata:
After the eruption, no life was left on the island.
In 1884, a scientist found only one spider there.
Over time, wind and sea brought seeds, and birds carried new plants.
Small animals like ants and lizards came on floating plants.
Slowly, plants and animals returned to the island.
